The room security could use some upgrades, as key cards malfunctioned. A clearer explanation of amenities could really help avoid confusion during check-in!!! Crowded pools during peak hours made relaxation difficult!!!

Had pleasant stay on the 22nd September 08, the staff were hard-working, location was beautiful in the Faro 2 shopping centre to the north about 20 minutes' walk away. The room was brand-new and well-equipped, offered an electronic key card, a work desk and satellite television.

The food was good, especially the breakfast and dinner buffet complete with live music! The gym was excellent, too.
The entertainment had quality issues, and it was tough to find staff during busy times.

The kumara is a very nice hotel with a relaxing atmosphere. We enjoyed the friendly staff and great food selection, especially for vegetarians. The proximity to the golf course was a big plus. The rooms were quiet and well cleaned daily.
